Sterling J. Crockett MLS

Private Wealth Advisor

Sterling Crockett serves as a Private Wealth Advisor to individuals and families. At the center of his work is a simple idea: he is a steward of what his clients have built, their wealth, their family and legacy, their businesses, and the causes they care about.

Why I Do This Work

My path into this profession started as a finance major at the University of Utah, where I was active in the Financial Management Association. One guest speaker, a financial advisor, talked about the profession and the genuine satisfaction of helping clients. I knew right away this was the path for me.

That calling became personal through the experience of a close friend. Her father passed away from cancer when she was young, leaving her mother, previously a stay-at-home parent, to raise five children alone. Because of careful financial planning, including savings and life insurance, her mother was able to continue raising her children without financial fear. That story showed me firsthand what good planning can mean for a family during the hardest moments of life.

My Approach

I believe in transparency and in educating my clients, not simply directing them. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach. Every client is different: different goals, different risk tolerance, different timelines. Before I make a recommendation, I want to understand and know my client. I am not in this business to sell products. I am in it to serve people.

I want my clients to spend less time worrying about their finances and more time enjoying their lives, their families, and the causes that matter most to them. My goal is to help clients move forward with greater confidence, make informed decisions, and experience real financial peace of mind.

I do not define success by trying to outperform the market every year. I define it by whether my clients are able to accomplish what matters most to them, whether that is retiring on their own terms, feeling confident through market volatility, being thoughtful about taxes, building a legacy, or working toward financial independence.
